What does EchoCall do?

EchoCall is a simple, photo-based calling app. A caregiver sets up a short list of trusted contacts, and the person using the phone taps a large photo button to call them. If a contact has already been called several times that day, EchoCall shows a brief, gentle pause before the call goes through.

How do I add a contact?

Tap the gear icon on the home screen, enter your caregiver PIN, then choose "Manage Contacts." From there, tap the "+" button to add a name, phone number, optional photo, and how many calls should trigger the gentle pause for that contact.

How do I change how many calls trigger the pause?

In Caregiver Settings, go to "Manage Contacts," select a contact, and adjust the "Daily call reminder" stepper. Each contact can have its own threshold.

I forgot my caregiver PIN. What do I do?

Currently, EchoCall doesn't offer in-app PIN recovery. Email us at the address above and we'll help walk you through your options. Note that because EchoCall stores everything locally on your device, reinstalling the app will permanently erase your saved contacts and call history.

Is my information private?

Yes. EchoCall stores all contacts, call history, and your caregiver PIN only on your device. There is no cloud sync, no account, and no internet connection required or used. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I add the Home Screen or Lock Screen widget?

In Caregiver Settings, look for "Home Screen Widget" and tap "Show steps" for a walkthrough. In short: touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, tap the "+" button, search for EchoCall, and add it.

Does EchoCall cost anything ongoing?

No. EchoCall is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring fee.

What iPhone models and iOS versions does EchoCall support?

EchoCall requires a recent iPhone running a current version of iOS. If you're having trouble installing or running the app, email us with your device model and iOS version and we'll help troubleshoot.
